  selectivity effect is a quantum phenomenon that is based on chirality\, s
 pin-orbit coupling\, particle-particle interactions\, and compositeness. H
 owever\, exactly how these aspects are brought together and results in the
  CISS effect is a work under construction and much debate. While the outst
 anding issue of the foundations of the chirality induced spin selectivity 
 effect has yet to be solved\, novel direction are outlined in the communit
 y\, new implications of the effect are being discovered Hence\, within the
  scope of the workshop\, these questions\, among several others\, will be 
 discussed\, with the aim to reach some clarification. Leading experts work
 ing in the field of the chirality induced spin selectivity effect as well 
 as expert physicists\, chemists\, engineering and biology-oriented scienti
 sts aiming to focus research in this direction will provide lectures with 
 a broad scope to facilitate a wider comprehension and open discussions of 
 this enigmatic issue.\nInvited speakers will outline the contemporary stat
 e of the experimental and theoretical sides in presentations in order to o
 pen for questions and discussions between the attending researchers. In ad
 dition\, participants are asked and encouraged to take part in the poster 
 session preceded by an oral brief presentation of the poster contents. The
  number of attending researchers is limited to 80.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe conferen
 ce language will be English. The Wilhelm and Else Heraeus-Foundation bears
  the cost of full-board accommodation for all participants.\n\n\n\n\n\nhtt
